Our weekend was a jam packed one.
It started Thursday. We spent the day and night in Midway at the Zermatt Resort, one of our favorite nearby-getaways. I had an event to photograph which took a chunk of my time, meanwhile the boys partied without me. But in my spare time, we crammed in the good stuff. We ate at a few darling local spots, like Cafe Galleria, and the Backerei & Eis at the Zermatt. Home of THE most incredible Macaroon known to man. If you are in UT, drive to Midway and get one immediately.
We cut our outing a little short to be home first thing Saturday morning for the ground breaking of our new neighbor, the Provo City Center LDS Temple. Its just a block from our home and we couldnt be more thrilled about it. We walked over with our good friends and neighbors the Oldhams and had the opportunity to hear President Holland speak, among other incredible church leaders. It was such a lovely experience, and our neighborhood was so full excitement. We are proud of our rising downtown Provo. The same day was the grand opening of the beautiful new Utah Valley Convention Center.
Lastly, sweet Dane put together a mothers day picnic BBQ to kick of the mothers day celebrations.
Obviously this deserves a post of its own, so a post of its own it will have.
